I like the chain and then the bracelet fit real good the other one with the b I put a magnitude and it stuck to the magnet which means it's not really stainless steel for me to bathe in with it change colors on me or terminate green the big one a magnet won't stick to it so I know it's stainless steel it's really Cuban Link if you would send me the one with the cross I would love to have that one in a rope chain thank you

Is it real gold?
It is not solid gold, and we never say it is. Every BALANZI Classic chain is 14K PVD gold over a stainless steel core, the same coating process the watch industry uses. Solid gold at this size costs thousands and has resale value; it also spends most of its life in a safe. This chain is made to be worn every day, in the shower, at the gym and at work, and priced so that is not a decision you have to think about.
Does the gold wear off?
Worn every single day for years, any plated chain will eventually show its history, and we say so up front. What we do not accept is anything short of that standard in the early years. If that happens, the guarantee applies, and you do not send the chain back. The owners on this page are the record: Laz runs a welding shop and has worn his every day for eight months; Israel K. has worn his every day for over a year and sweats a lot. What does the guarantee cover, and does it expire?
It does not expire. Three months in or three years in, if the chain is not up to your standard, you keep it and we return every dollar. Nothing to send back. Every order we have shipped is covered by the guarantee that was in force when it was bought: before 4 March 2024 that meant we replaced the piece, and since then it means you keep it and get the money back. The cover got stronger, and no order lost it. The guarantee is on the chain, not the account, so whoever wears it is covered, including a gift. The full terms are on the guarantee page.
Why pay more than a no-name steel chain?
Plenty of steel chains cost less, and some are fine. The price here pays for the parts you cannot see in a product photo: every batch measured on a caliper before it ships, the box clasp we changed in August 2026 after real failures, a dated public record of what changed and why on The Work, the box it arrives in, shipping included in the US, and a guarantee that never asks for the chain back.
